People say beauty is overrated, but then I look at you and I know what beauty is. It's the familiar shape of your hands, and the bridge of your nose, and the warmth of your eyes, and how looking into them makes me feel. To know that I can even feel this way, to want to become the very best version of myself for the world that contains you. To be someone that I could never be on my own, without your presence, to feel *present* myself for the first time. To experience unconditionality, and humility, and courage, and faith in everything good that can exist in me, and in the world, which I look upon not only for myself now. To be reminded of what's important, quietly and absolutely, like a wave that washes over me among the noise. I don't ever want to be perfect and complete. I want to hold space for all the sublime things I can be, just because you are you. In the tiniest chamber of my heart, where there's serenity, and strength, and light, and everything noble.

Jealousy

Jealousy is like acid. Some hue of green seemingly harmless at first. Once in contact it spreads and devours hungrily. Slowly, silently it seeps into every crack every wound widening every opening deeply corrosive ultimately distorting every part of your being eating away from the outside in. Permanently changing your very core. Getting absorbed by flesh and bone Like they're addicted to it. And when the damage is visible it is already too late. What has been burnt can never really heal. Scar tissue is the reminder and the lesson.

And just like that words die before they leave my lips art dies before it reaches the paper like waves die once they reach the coastline only to be born and try again. My heart's spilled all over the place A kind of familiar taste I thought I'd left forgotten long ago. All I've ever loved I keep in my heart Like a precious gem. And I cannot change How it turns into a thorn That I can never let go. I hate how I don't hate you enough To take that thorn out of my heart I hate how I can't follow my head When it screams enough is enough. And most of all I hate How of all the things I had to lose My muse withered too. Her sweet music turned into noise And her poetry into angry words With no place to go Cause they were listened to But not heard. I do not want to write about growth And self awareness and wholesome things. I want to passionately praise every speck of dust As if it was the sun But now that's gone too. How do the eyes see magic When the heart doesn't feel it? What kind of fire burns When there is nothing to burn?

I am an artist Not by my hands or words But in each and every way that matters. I see art I feel art I breathe art I bleed art. Art is what runs in my veins Those of the body and the spirit. Hello everyone It has been such a long, long time since I was a regular here. Years. I remember I used to have all these big ideas about the kind of art I want to make. I promised myself every time I would work towards it to make it. Series of drawings and paintings, or writing long, well versed stories. After all this time, I think it is safe to say I was never going to do it. I wanted to create something and express myself in so fancy ways I was more fixed on the outcome rather than the process, and that resulted in poor art too. There was a time I was really talented at drawing, but not anymore. Maybe I'll get to it again someday, without all that pressure I put on myself in the past. For now, I am content with simply putting my thoughts on paper now and then, and posting them here as poems. I'm not in the mood to write rhyming poems anymore, but if there is inspiration, I'll try it again sometime. I have been too fixed on how my creations look or sound aesthetically, and some

...well, guess who's back? I've been inactive for quite some time, it seems. At some point, I was thinking about deleting this account or starting a new one with a more professional/formal style... I constantly feel like I have to leave all the past deviations and style behind me in order to move forward, then I realized if I'm always waiting to feel satisfied with my skills in order to upload new things, I will never take the next step. I haven't really produced any great artwork since the last time I uploaded stuff here, but I am working on several things behind the screen.
